Light & Sound in Nature Study
Let’s spark curiosity via light waves and amplify learning about sound this month—how it travels, how it interacts with different mediums, and where it comes from (both naturally and artificially). Explore the vibrant color spectrum and investigate awe-inspiring natural phenomena like lightning, rainbows, and auroras.
On the sound side, your learners will uncover how vibrations create sound, delve into the concepts of pitch and frequency, and understand how sound moves through various mediums—even discovering how animals use sound to communicate. Plus, we’ll examine the impact of light and noise pollution on the environment and living things.
Packed with engaging, hands-on activities, this comprehensive unit promises an exciting journey into the science that brightens our days and resonates through our world. Join us for an unforgettable month of exploration and learning!
